What better way to feel good than by joining Sumi Nungwa for an evening of fun and helping our Hopi and Navajo elders.

Join us at Market Street Grill, Cottonwood for Market Street's amazing selection of appetizers and deserts.   Wine and beer will also be available from the bar.   Meet some of the native artists and visit as they demonstrate their work.  And, purchase something unique for those hard to buy for people on your Holiday list.   (It isn't that far away folks!)   All the proceeds help support Hopi & Navajo elders and artists.   Artists who will be there include:

  • Irene Price, Navajo potter and jewelery maker

  • Ida Tah, Traditional Navajo elder, jewlery maker, and Sumi Nungwa elder

  • Vann Chee, Traditional Navajo weaver

  • Louie Josytewa, Hopi gold and silversmith and jewlery designer

  • Carl Moore, Noted Hopi Hoop Dancer and activest

Not only will their art will be for sale, but they can create a custom piece of work just for you.   Other items for sale include Navajo rugs, Navajo & Hopi baskets, silver & turquoise, jewlery, Hopi Flat dolls, and more.

Don't miss our Holiday Tree filled with ornaments for the elders.   Select an ornament, make a donation and ensure an elder receives a much needed gift.     Loretta and Sherry Chee will be there to answer all your questions.   Their grandmother, Lula Chee, has been an elder in the program for many years.
